Dear Eleanor:
I'm sure you don't remember, why with you dealing with so many girls, but I wanted to let you know how much you helped me. I never had any intention of having an abortion, but just knowing that there was an organization like Bridge To Life who would help a girl in my situation gave me the courage to know that I could handle being a single mother.
Anyway, I know you might not always find out what happens after the girls come to you & I wanted to let you know that I had a baby boy. His name is Dillon & he is now 4 years old. I have enclosed a picture, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you again & please never stop what you do for scared young girls.

This is just to say thank you so much. It isn't often today that people will extend themselves as you have (even through an organization). Many people helped me make a decision that I am truly glad I did, to keep my little girl.
And although I have many children, every day in every way I will work to be the best mom I can be with my baby.

Dear Eleanor,
I don't know if you remember me, but let me refresh your memory. In the summer of 1997 you paired my boyfriend and I up with a counselor for post-abortion counseling. You not only went out of your way to help me, but also introduced me to one of the greatest counselors, Elizabeth. I still remember her words of encouragement, and still keep in touch with her. The two of you helped me to get better, and I thank you for everything.
Since then I have been on your mailing list and have been receiving your newsletter. I enjoy reading it and keeping up to date with all that your organization has done and is doing. I also congratulate you on all your good work and all you have accomplished.
I really haven't been able to contribute anything until now. In your recent newsletter, January 1999, you stated that you needed help with the dinner-dance. I won't be here to volunteer, but I can contribute. You had said that you needed contributions for raffles and suggested some items including jewelry and gift certificates. Enclosed you will find a bracelet from Anne Klein and $30 in gift certificates to Saks Fifth Avenue. It is not much, but I hope that it will help.
Please let me know of anything that I can personally do to help you and your organization. Regardless, I will keep in touch and help as much as I can. I wish you good luck with your dinner-dance and hope it goes well.
